SIWS Breed Confined Event - Chillington Hall 2008
What a fantastic weekend the Cuvana's had at The SIWS breed
confined tests. On Saturday 19th in the Water tests, Brise got 3rd place in Unlimited, Caz got 2nd place in 12-18 month Puppy
and Zac got 1st place in Novice and Open, what a fantastic day. Sunday 20th in the Working tests, Caz got 2nd in Unlimited
and 4th in 12-18 month Puppy, with Brise placed 3rd in Unlimited and 4th in Novice. We decided it was unfair to run Zac in
Novice, so just ran in Open and were thrilled when Zac was placed 2nd and ecstatic when he was awarded the Rockmoor Challenge
Trophy for best performance overall.
We are so very proud of our boy.

Kent County Show 2008
Andrew Farley from Warrenby Gundogs very kindly invited Judy and Sue to be part
of his Gundog demonstration team at the above show and gave us our own Irish Water Spaniel slot on all 3 days. All four
of our dogs demonstrated retrieving and steadiness, Flo who is now 11, Zac and Brise who are 3 and little Caz who is just
1 year old. Despite keen competition between the 4 dogs, especially over the rabbit dummy!, they gave a fairly good
display.

| Minor Breeds team event |
Sue and Zac were very honoured to be invited to be part of the IWS team and run in
the Minor Breeds Team event on 18 May, despite the fact that it meant a very early start and 3 hour drive to the event.
Brilliant news is that the IWS team won the event which made the day very special, very well done to Lin, Dave and Ian, what
a great team.

Caz - Show Results
Caz has had some success in the showing world. She was placed 1st at her
first ever show at LKA in December 2007, 4th at Crufts 2008, and 1st at Welks 2008. She is now in Junior class and was
2nd at Windsor, and then 1st and got Reserve Best of Breed at South of England Gundog Show, which we were very pleased
with.
Caz - Working
She is also doing well on the working side, getting placed
2nd in Unlimited and Puppy 12-18 months at the Sporting Irish Water Spaniel tests held in July at Chillington Hall, Codsall
Wood, near Wolverhampton.
ZAC - WORKING TESTS
July 2008 - Rockmoor Challenge Trophy for best overall performance

April 2008 - 1st in Minority Breed Team event
March 2008 - Trophy for most improved IWS in 2007
What a 2007 we are having.
Just a month after winning in the show world, Zac has now won tropy in Novice working
test.

Very pleased to report that having won tropy for best Novice
IWS in 2006, Zac successfully defended his title and won again in 2007

CRUFTS 2007
What a day, not only did Zac get placed in 3 separate showing classes,
Postgraduate, Working and Good Citizen,
he then went on to win the Reserve CC.
We were so excited.
